I’m Kesia welcome to my blog. I have been married for five years to an amazing man, husband and father. We have two beautiful daughters Romina and Genevieve. My life changed completely the moment I became a mother for the first time. Our first daughter Romina is amazing, she’s spontaneous, talkative, lovable, and she looks just like me. With Romina I’ve learned to have patience, lots and lots of patience.

When my husband and I found out we were expecting for the second time, we were thrilled and excited for what was to come. We had always talked about having two kids (maybe three) and just like that, it happened. Once again my life changed and Genevieve came into our lives. In the short time she has been here she has taught me so many things that I can just go on and on. Above all she has taught me what unconditional love truly is.

On August 20th, 2019, Genevieve was born and unknowingly on this day she was diagnosed with Trisomy 21. Follow my journey and find out the reasons why I was inspired to start this blog. The last two months have been full life lessons that I wouldn’t change. My family life has been different, in the sense that I have had to share my time between a hospital and my home. During this time I have cried, I felt alone, I have doubted myself in many ways, but above all I have prayed and kept praying until something happen.

I’m certain that at this specific point everything has happened the way it was meant to be. I remind myself of this…”God has a plan for Genevieve and He also knew we were going to be the perfect parents for her and that is why we needed her in our lives.” Through the uncertainties I have found the answers and I know I will be the best mom to this sweet Tri21 baby. I am ready to guide, educate and love Romina and Genevieve the best way I can.
